How It All Started
I've been fishing my whole life, but at some point I wanted to do more than just fish — I wanted to share it. I picked up a camera, headed to the water, and started documenting the trips, the catches, the misses, and everything that makes this lifestyle worth living.
What started as a simple idea turned into something I'm genuinely passionate about. Every video I put out is a piece of my real experience on the water — no scripted moments, no fake hype. Just fishing the way I love it, mostly chasing reds and trout along the Texas coast.
Along the way I started building my own rods, because I wanted gear that actually fit the way I fish. That passion for the craft grew into John Jo's Fishing Custom Rods — handbuilt setups I stand behind completely.
